Little bit of this and that...

Happy 4th of July!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend and remembering our troops and their families :)

We are having a low key weekend - yet busy around the house - getting things ready for Logan's arrival... any day! I am 37 weeks - FULL TERM - YAY! I definitely let out a huge sigh of relief when I got to that date - if he comes now, he will be just fine. We are getting his room as ready as it can be. I changed a couple of things around.

I moved the lamp over to the changing table so we can have some light to see while we are wiping poop of his booty or in case he tries to pee on us. (I am just waiting on that day... oh joy) Above the table we are putting 2 large frames of his newborn pics (the week or so after he is born) so that will be up later. I will be sure to post pics once we have the frames/photos.

His closet is slowly coming together. Honestly, it has been such a challenge trying to find places for all our stuff that we stored in his closet. This pic below is all baby stuff that I am trying to find space for since he won't need some of it right when he arrives. Whew - a work in progress!

The pack n play!!! Trey did such a great job of putting it together - it looks wonderful and fits in our bedroom perfectly. Our plan is for him to sleep in the infant section when he arrives - but babies have their own agenda so we also have the Nap Nanny ready to go just in case.
Trey also put together the swing in our living room. The doggies are very curious - they have no clue what is about to happen. Bless their hearts :)

Yay! I love the little turtle mobile - too cute.

In other BIG NEWS - today I finally got to see Eclipse!!!! I was dying to see it since it came out on the 30th - but I can't stand in lines 9 months preggo - not a good idea. My water does not need to break in the middle of a movie theater. So, Trey and I invited his mom and we went to the first showing of the day and it was perfect! We got right in and didn't have to wait. AMAZING. It was sooo stinkin good - each movie gets better and better. Can't wait to see it again with my girls! :)

Things are going okay - I am feeling as good as I can with 3 weeks to go. I had pretty strong braxton hicks contractions yesterday and last night - they didn't hurt - but they were very uncomfortable. I am just trying to take it easy and chill out. Tonight we are going to dinner and seeing fireworks with Lauren and John. We are looking forward to hanging out with them - couples nights out will be few and far between once our baby boys arrive so we are definitely taking advantage!
I am off tomorrow - and then I go to the ultrasound specialist Tuesday to check fluid levels, how big Logan is, and making sure everything is okay. Can't wait!
