For the love of a Cupcake...

OR NOT..... yep. That seems to be the case. Logan of course is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever known. Seriously. So today I had a playdate and there was a mini cupcake leftover so I plopped it down on his lunch tray to see what he would do. And I think the photos pretty much cover his true feelings...

Checking it out... getting a feel for it...

First bite...

"ewwwwwww"

Spitting more out

Classic Stank Face (he has this perfected)

And Total. Utter. Complete. DISGUST. And don't judge me folks, I did my part. I ate plenty of cupcakes during pregnancy so I cannot be to blame for his hatred. That is all on him...
Haha - oh he cracks me up. His hate of almost every food group. I just have to shake my head and laugh sometimes because if I didn't I would literally freak out and have a panic attack. :) Oh and I bought rainbow colored goldfish today for the kiddos - he only ate the orange cheese colored ones. Flat out refused to eat the green, purple, or red ones. Even though they taste the same! Seesh.
He is loving his Diner - plays with it all the time...

Saying "Cheeeeeeeeese"

Love that kid - he is just the most precious thing ever!

Easter Happies

Look at that sweet toddler. He gets bigger everyday. Crazy how that happens right??

He hit 20 months on the 20th of March....yes its been SO long since I did a post - sorry!! Must get better and slow down :) He is just such a joy to be around. He started saying "no" but doesnt quite understand what it means yet thank goodness! haha - I was very careful not to use that word around him much. In fact sometimes he says no to mean yes :)

I have to watch him around Sophie. He gets rough with her and tries to give her toys or bones by chunking them on top of her or forcing them into her tiny mouth. Oh goodness. She is too good to him - never gets aggressive, but I can tell by her peeing on the carpet sometimes that she is STRESSED. We are working with him to be gentle - its a process...

Little man loves his ball pit - and loves to dump it over 50 bajillion times a day. Which MAMA picks up a bajillion times a day. Its good exercise! We are also working on helping clean up but that just means we sing the cleanup song while he stands there staring at me. haha. Sometimes he will put 1-2 things away - yay!

Working on saying CHEESE when a pic is being taken!

He is such a tall boy - but I was too when I was younger and then just stopped growing in Elem school we shall see!
He loves looking at these photos in the hallway and I pick him up multiple times a day where he points to each family member and tries to say their names. Or asks who they are. Such a cutie pie.

"I'll be in my box of pampers when you need me, mom"

Waking up from nap!

We celebrated Gi Gi's birthday!!
And big ole Easter. We didn't do much - just had a few eggs filled with cheerios and yogurt melts his fav. He picked them up and ate every bit :)
His little basket was super cute, thanks Gi Gi! And we also got him a ball and this little cow flashlight that he can turn on and off and charge it up - mini generator inside. He LOVED it!
He played with it for a solid 10 minutes
Such a stinky face :)

shaking those eggs - before he realized there were goodies inside!

Stuffing his face!

See? He is getting better at saying CHEESE but needs to look at the camera :)
Sweet sweet boy!

Daddy is hilarious!

Mommy is pretty funny too :)
Lets see we have been busy over here - playdates during the week, walks on nice days, house work too, and I recently added another business venture to my list! I joined Stella & Dot as a Stylist and am LOVING it.... its so much fun! Here is my website: www.stelladot.com/wearthejoy

Gearing up for our big beach trip in May!!! I am sooooo stinkin excited!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully Logan will love the feel of sand in his toes - but if not, no worries...there is always next year :)
