Also, as a side note we missed Daddy!! He had to stay behind and work hard while we were being lazy beach bums. But I am sure he enjoyed some peace and quiet too :)

Logan pretty much stayed under the beach house playing in his kiddie pool standing under the outdoor shower head and running all over saying "go go go go go!" it was hilarious!

We had to entice him with the "go go go go!" and run away so he would follow and actually test out the sand. He didn't mind it in his water shoes - but the sun was so bright it hurt his eyes the whole time. He wouldn't wear sunglasses poor guy

Okay - so we took him out the first day and he initially did fine just walking on the sand - we were excited for the water and finally took him to see the waves and his first connection was this wave that was huge and almost took him out to sea - haha SO...needless to say that was the end of the ocean. It was too big and scary - he didn't even want mommy or grammy getting near it :) Sweet boy

Sooo the trip actually went great we split it into two days and stayed in a hotel after 4 hours of driving down and 5 on the way back. He did amazing - of course didn't sleep a wink in the car but Benadryl quickly became out best friend!! We had our portable dvd player ready to go with his favorite baby einstein dvds so we drugged him a little to make him sleepy and he just sat in a Benadryl Coma for 2+ house - never falling asleep - but not screaming! So definitely a success! When we got to the hotel he was obsessed with this microwave we unplugged and put on the floor. Plus turning on and off the lamps. Hours of fun!

Hotel lamps - obsession
It was a great trip - other than the fact that I left my wallet at home.......yes. I did that. And Trey had to overnight it to me ($40 later) UGH. Otherwise I didnt have my license to drive or get a tasty beverage or anything! Other than that we all enjoyed being together and Logan did amazing - for a kid who doesn't love change he slept perfectly in his pack n play and adjusted just fine!! We even went out to eat one day for lunch and he did great there too. :) Will post more later about his 22 month post - but July is quickly approaching and I am in total denial he will be TWO.................
