Turkey Day 2011!

We had a yummy Thanksgiving this year - with plenty of good food and surrounded by our small family - it was low key and nice! Irene and Cole came over to play before they left town and we put the boys in their matching sleepers for a mini photo session :)

I mean, could they get ANY cuter??

Logan was not wanting to smile - silly boy :)

Cole is 9 months old and Logan is now 16 months - don't they look almost the same age!! Cole has grown so much - these boys need to slow down!!

Sweet Cole

Playing with each other - I am thankful that Logan was nice to Cole this time, last time he pretty much tortured him :( But he smiled and danced for him a little and didn't push or pull his hair - hooray!

Wish they lived closer :)

I got Logan this cute Owl hat at Holiday house - we were testing it out...

Ready for CHRISTMAS!!!

These pics are from Thanksgiving day...Logan inspecting his first pumpkin :)

And...we're done

I was dying to get out of the house on Turkey Day but it was a little on the cold side - so before naptime to burn off some time and steam I bundled him up in his new Gap sweat suit (so freaking adorable, right??) And we strolled around the neighborhood before the big meal!

This boy is OBSESSED with walks - love love loves them!

He did great with keeping his hoodie in tact :)

Logan got to walk around outside at Grammy and Grandads before Turkey Day started

Digging for dirt and leaves. All boy - in case you were wondering :)

Grandaddy giving him a stick which is loved

Meal time - YUM!

We got a good pic of Logan and Daddy, but when it came my turn he was not having it. Will have to take one of him and I soon :)

Eating is NOT going so well. We are enforcing the left overs only rule at lunch time and he isn't buying it. He won't touch anything and if I try to smear a little on his mouth he makes a horrid face and that is it - he is done.

testing out a piece of cheese - just in case it isnt the kind of cheese he likes...stinker

Dont let the peas, sweet potato, and black beans fool you. He promptly pushed them ALL off his tray within another 2 minutes. Sigh. Someday he will like food :)

Curious little fellow

He found one of my birthday party balloons and was way excited about carrying it around and laughing while he smushed it and made noises

Another new thing is he likes to wear bibs around the house. He has been doing this at Grammys for quite a while but just started it over here. He pulls a bib down and wants you to put it on him then he plays and walks around with it on. Too funny!

We are gearing up for Christmas!! I took down my fall decorations and am getting ready to make Christmas come alive in the next few days!!!! Yippee!
