Firsts!

We have experienced a bunch of "firsts" at the Gould household. Logan had his first smile (not gas related) and he has slept through the night a few times, and we also went on our first walk! Tonight is not one of those nights he is sleeping through the night - but hey - we are making progress!

Just look at that baby boy - he just melts my heart....

Daddy being silly

Logan talking to his friends on his playmat - he loves his animals!

Poor Sophie on the other side of the gate. We had to get this gate to block her out of the living area where we have his toys setup. She is far too obsessed with him and won't leave him alone when he is on the floor playing or hanging out. She constantly wants to be in his face and licking his feet which makes me nervous. She is a dog after all - you never know. She sits with her nose pressed to the gate most of the time staring at us and wagging her tail. She is a good sport though.

Logan seeing himself in the mirror during tummy time

All for Daddy! I bought this Puma outfit since Trey loves the brand - he has a billion Puma shoes and I thought this little sleeper and Puma socks would be great. Trey was definitely excited!

All ready for his first walk! It was nice weather the other day and Lauren and I took advantage and took the boys for a walk. It is soo nice they live so close!

Look at Austin - he is too precious!!

Proud Mamma Lauren and Austin

We so enjoyed being outside and exercising - whew it feels good after not doing anything for 9 months - geez I am out of shape! But slowly getting back in the game. Logan and Austin slept the whole time so it was nice for us to chat and discuss baby stuff :)

Irene gave them both onesies that read "New In Town" and we got them together on the bed to take their picture with their matching outfits - how stinkin cute are they??

First time meeting and hanging out - Logan kept reaching over and putting his hand in Austin's way - whoops! Sorry Bestie!

Thanks Aunt Irene for the cute onesies~!

I think Logan is trying to hold his hand - haha best buds already! It is crazy how much I think Austin looks like both Lauren and John - the different faces he makes and facial features resemble both mom and dad which I think is awesome.

In other EXCITING news - Irene and Luke are Preggers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are over the moon about them expecting a precious baby in February - we can't wait to see what they are having...of course I am convinced its a GIRL! :) (though I was totally wrong with Lauren and John) ha! I pray for a wonderful pregnancy and smooth labor/delivery - I can't wait to hold Baby Adams this winter!
We went on Date Night tonight while my parents watched Logan. It was so nice to get out and eat a nice dinner at Bravo Italian - yum! We took our time and then came back to the house to watch a movie. Definitely a nice evening away from Baby duty - thanks mom and dad!
Other than that we are just enjoying time with Logan and watching him learn and grow - today he sucked on Gus - his wubbanub, for 5-7 minutes while watching his sunflower toy play music and light up - It was magical to watch him make facial expressions while seeing his toy for the first time. Of course we have played it for him before, but this is the first time he actually liked it and stared at it for longer than a few seconds.
Love these precious moments with our little man. Life is SWEET! :)
