One Relaxing Babymoon!

My fabulous weekend started off with this YUMMY and oh so cute Sky candy bar that my sweet hubby picked up at Walmart. I am sure you can see why I was so excited about this candy bar ;)

We went on our Babymoon getaway to our favorite Bed and Breakfast in Hot Springs, Ar. this weekend with Lauren and John - also celebrating their babymoon since she is only a few weeks behind me :)

I know I have posted before about Tinkerbelle's Wildwood B&B, but you can never have too much of a good thing. It is such a nice relaxing getaway and we love to catch up with Rebecca and David, the owners, since they are now like family after visiting them for roughly 8 years!

We arrived and Rebecca greeted us and was immediately shocked and excited to see that I was pregnant - we kept it a secret until we saw them. We booked the King David room which is the first room we ever stayed in at Tinkerbelle. We were so young and had been together about a year and wanted to come to Hot Springs for a weekend away from college classes - ha! (If we only knew how easy we had it in college) The King David room has the most amazing bed - it is one of the best in the house, soo comfy and it is also known for its large tub - Trey just loves it!

We met Lauren and John at Rolando's for dinner and Trey and John ordered some pretty colorful drinks - it was hilarious that they matched their shirts!

Delish guacamole and queso dip!

Do you recognize this couch? We donated it to Rebecca and David since it is a Victorian style and most of their furniture looks very similar. We wanted someone to have it that would use it and not trash it since it is very pretty and in great shape! We were thrilled that they would accept the pieces and we drove them to Hot Springs one rainy weekend to give them a new home. I am so glad they can use the couch and chairs - it looks amazing in their entry way!

The dining room - where the "die-and-go-to-heaven" breakfast is served every morning at 9.

One of the best things about Tinkerbelle is the amazing gourmet breakfast that is served daily. Rebecca is such a great cook - her creations are so yummy and unlike any other B&B. Our favorite thing is to come down stairs in the morning right around 9 am and peer into the dining room to see what she has in store for us - this is what we had Saturday morning - ahhhhhhhhh

That chocolate muffin sundae is SINFUL! :)

After waddling out of breakfast we got ready and went shopping to burn off a few calories. We walked the downtown strip and went to a large antique store. The guys totally surprised us with Prenatal Massages at 2:30 which was super nice! After walking around all day we needed some rubdown on our backs and feet. It was amazing - major brownie points for our hubby's - they are too sweet.

We went to dinner at J and S Italian Villa which is always tasty - I ordered the baked ziti and the chicken verona was also yummy.

We were exhausted and crashed in bed after a late dinner. Sunday morning (I failed to get a pic of the board but I did get a photo of each dish) We started off with lemon poppyseed bread with a lemon glaze

Then, fruit medley and a ham, egg, and cheese English muffin

And the last course was the decadent blueberry pancakes!

We should have taken pics on our dinner evening, but totally forgot! Here we are on Sunday morning - full from that yummy breakfast!

We had such a nice weekend - it turned out to be great weather which was a nice surprise. I cannot believe that next time we go back we will have babies! I am sure it will be a while - but still, it is very surreal that this was our last time at Tinkerbelle without children. Reality is starting to set in - whoa :)
