I just LOVE holidays - (no surprise here) so I was so excited when I thought to have a Vday tree! I already had a pink tree and just bought ornaments from hobby lobby. I also had left over
garland from Christmas so I made a Valentines garland and put the rest of the ornaments and a few hearts in the mix.
Onto our weekend...
We went to fayetteville to visit Irene and Luke before Baby Cole arrives in a couple of weeks! We were so excited to have a night away from the baby and to spend some time with our dear friends. We drove up later Sat afternoon and made it there by dinner. We ate at Red Robin (never been there before and it was tasty!) After dinner the boys went out since this will be one of the last times Luke can have a guys night for a while and Irene and I stayed in and talked about the nursery, organization of said nursery, and all things BABY! Shocking, I know :) It is so funny the differences in men and women. ha!
We stayed up until 1 am which is almost unheard of at the Gould household these days. But I didn't have to get up with a baby so it was alright - the guys made it home a little later and we were fast asleep when our cell phones rang. I finally woke up enough to answer and it was our alarm system saying there was a glass shatter in the kitchen! WHAT?!! To make matters worse our poor Sophie was staying at the house by herself! I freaked out and asked them to send a police officer over to check the house out. Sometimes if it thunders it will set off the alarm or if a loud noise happens - but its rare. The lady suggested that our dog probably jumped on the glass and I kindly told her a 5 pound Chihuahua definitely couldn't make the alarm go off!
So, that pretty much ruined any sleep we WOULD have had. The police officer told our alarm company that he didn't see anything - no broken glass thank goodness. But I was still very worried about Soph. My MIL was coming to check on her and spent time with her Sat evening, but this was at 4-5 am - just strange.
So - we talked to Vivian later that morning and she was sweet to come over to the house to check on everything and Sophie - all was fine which made us feel so much better. But you just feel so helpless when you are out of town and you get a phone call like that. Ugh. So - needless to say instead of gaining extra sleep we lost TONS on our overnight trip. Oh well - there will be other times. I am just so very thankful everything was okay and no one tried to break in - the dog is fine, and that is really all that matters. :)
Look at the glowing Mama-to-be! Precious!
And for your Logan fill - here are some recent pics - YES - that is a wubbie, we all know he hates pacis or soothies anything like that. But he is now chewing on them I think because his gums are sore from teething. At least he can use it now!

The past couple of days Logan has perfected rolling over from back to stomach - only in his crib. He constantly does this new trick before nap time and bed time. I had to turn him over 5 times this morning for his nap! Once he gets there - he plays for a second then realizes he can't turn back over and cries. I usually give him a little bit to see if he will figure it out - but he hasn't yet. The crying just escalates.
Hopefully this will be a low key week - I need to really do some cleaning and organizing in our guest bedroom and tear down boxes in the garage. Fun times - I know you are jealous :)
