Baby Bootcamp Day 2 and 3

Baby Crib Bootcamp is a SUCCESS!!! I am one proud mama! Logan did pretty well on Day 2 - he went to sleep with ZERO crying because we gave in and let him have a lovie. Which is fine, I took it away before we went to bed so he wouldn't pull it on his face and suffocate (he loves to have it covering his nose and mouth - silly boy) So, he slept pretty well - he had very choppy sleep - active sleep. He moved around a lot and woke up every hour and a half the second night. He never cried, but he didn't get much sleep which meant mama didn't get much sleep. I was constantly watching the video monitor when I would hear him to make sure he was okay and I was prepared for him to start wailing. But that never happened. He finally started crying at 5 am and Trey went in and gave him a bottle because he wouldn't stop crying and it was escalating. He went right back down after the bottle and woke up around 8 am. Overall he did fantastic - but he was exhausted all day yesterday since he didn't fall into a deep sleep. He slept in the crib a few times for nap, but wouldn't stay down in there for any length of time. He finally passed out in the swing and stayed asleep for 3 hours! He loves that swing! But when he's 18 he can sleep in a swing so we are putting a stop to that now :) He can use the swing for playtime or relaxing time once he gets the naps down.

Watching him on the video monitor - best invention EVER. I would have paid big bucks to be able to see my baby sleeping and make sure he is okay - I know people did it without video monitors before, but I don't know how! :)

So... Day 3 went beautifully! I put him in the crib around 7:30 pm and he cried for a minute after I sang to him and walked away but he grabbed his lovie and started talking to it. He finally fell asleep and didn't wake up AT ALL until 8:30 am!!! HOORAY!!! I heard him stirring a few times through the night, but not enough to really wake me up. He had some major gas this morning starting at 6:30 am but it didn't wake him up - he would just hike his legs in the air - let out some gas and pass back out. Too funny!

It's almost CHRISTMAS time - the MOST wonderful time of the year!!!!

Look how big he is getting! - He wants to help hold his bottle - though his grip makes it hard to actually feed him. But I let him help because its so darn cute and he is learning. Sweet boy :)

I am putting him in his Christmas outfits as much as I can since he will only wear them this month and once in his life - its surreal that next year he will be toddling around!

Watching his favorite - baby Einstein - Santa Baby!

Look at that cute patootie!

Sophie - she pulls out her toys when he goes to bed thinking its her playtime then. The problem? They are squeaky toys! So I had to put up all the ones that still squeak and give her the old toys that she already busted the squeaker out :)

He was so exhausted he kept passing out on Trey - poor guy. Boot Camp is hard work!

He looks terrified - haha

Loving on Sohpie the giraffe - he can actually squeak her now!

Just hanging out with his bff Soph

Licking her face...

biting her nose...

hanging out...

talking to her - telling her "All About It" :)
Precious boy - 5 months is coming right up! Oh my!!!
