See? Poor baby...
Loves trying on his sunglasses but gets so frustrated - he pokes himself constantly and won't let Mama help much...hence the tears...
Finger licking good..... probably crackers :)
Stirring up something yummy form his pretend diner
So I got out these little small silicone bowls for him - and he is slowly learning his colors and counting how many there are - whoa~!
So, at 22 months he is still a fantastic sleeper - can't complain! Goes down for nap at 1 pm and usually sleeps until 2:30 sometimes 3. Goes to bed at 7 pm until 7 am! We never hear a peep :)
He is wearing size 5 diapers and drinks whole milk like a champ. Loves milk and water. Food is still the same few items. But he is getting calories and some nutrition so hopefully that is enough.
We haven't had to do much Time Out. He tests limits but its rare these days that he continues doing something to warrant a time out. Usually we do a lot of warnings then he is onto the next thing. He can say a WHOLE sloo of words - honestly almost any word we say and if we ask him to repeat it he certainly gives it a good try. He can finally say "off" and oven, up, light, more, moon, window, room, round and round (he knows fans and washing machines go round and round) go go go, circle, oval, Gi Gi, One, Two, Four, Eight, please (my personal fav!) and many more. This is such a fun age!!
We threw Lauren a surprise 30th birthday party and here are some pics...
She was definitely surprised and it turned out beautiful and delish! Here's to another fabulous 30!
I got Logan a pair of boxer shorts with his name on the booty - how cute are these!!??
Playing with his truck - getting frustrated. That happens a lot - he certainly throws his tantrums which are exhausting but mainly because he tries to do things and can't or wants us to do it for him.
Loves his books - he can point out almost any animal and make the noise. He can say some animal names like lion, hippo, rhino, tiger, etc
Making the Elephant noise :)
Wants the fan on and off - yet again getting frustrated :)
How big does he look in this pic?? Each day he steals a little piece of my heart - and I wonder how much more love can I possibly have inside me - its overwhelming to think about. And how nothing can ever prepare you for that reality and feeling until they are born and then your heart jumps out of your body and attaches to this tiny being. And there it stays outside your body for the rest of your life. And I am A-Okay with that!! So blessed to be his mommy :)
